Q: Can we bring food and beverages aboard the boat?
A: Yes, passengers may bring beverages and snacks aboard.

Q: Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
A: Yes, some of our special events tours (see special events section of our website) and our Saturday evening tours are geared toward adults. Passengers may bring small coolers with food and beverages for personal consumption (soft drinks, wine, beer, etc). No one under the age of 21 may purchase or consume alcohol onboard the Patriot.

Q: How do we reserve space on a public or special events tour?
A: Contact us via telephone at (803) 730-9739 or via e-mail at cvbradshaw@windstream.net. We will need to know your name and telephone number, the specific date you are looking to tour, your tour time and number of passengers. Your name will be placed on our rooster. No upfront deposit is required. If the tour, for some reason, has to be cancelled due to weather, unsafe conditions, or minimum passenger load is not met, we will contact you.

Q: Is there a minimum number of passengers required for the boat to depart?
A: Yes. Four is the minimum number on public tours. Special event minimums vary by the type tour. Chartering, no minimum.

Q: Do you have a P.A. System or CD player aboard?
A: Yes, we use a P.A. System when we give our tours. If you need it for making an announcement to your group you�re welcome to use it. We also have a CD player aboard that we use to play music during the tours. If you charter the boat, you are welcome to bring your own music and use our CD player.

Q: Where do we pay?
A: For public tours and special event tours, you pay as you board the boat. For Chartering, a non-refundable partial payment of 50% is required in advance and is non-refundable unless trip is deemed unsafe conditions by Captain. Balance due for charters is due upon arrival and prior to boat leaving dock.

Q: Where do we park?
A: Affordable hourly parking is available at the City parking lot next to the Marriott (approximately 200 feet from the boat) with cul-de-sac off-loading for buses (approximately 100 feet from boat). Complimentary parking is available 2 blocks from the boat located behind the amphitheater at Reynolds and Burum Street.

Q: Do you take credit cards?
A: We accept cash on our public and special event tours. For charters, we accept cash or checks. Credit/debit cards are not accepted.

Q: Is an ATM machine close to the boat?
A: There is an ATM Machine located in the Marriott lobby which is approximately 200 feet from the boat.

Q: Is the boat handicap accessbile?
A: There are handicap ramps that lead all the way down to the boat. Wheelchairs will have to be lifted approximately 8 inches to get from the dock to the boat deck. The boat easily accommodates wheelchairs. The restrooms on the boat are not wheelchair accessible.

Q: What entertainment is available onboard the Patriot?
A: A narrated tour is given and music is played on the boat during public tours. When chartering the boat, a complimentary narration is available, if requested, and you are welcome to bring CD�s with your choice of music.
